A client came in to see me from a referral. The business’ financials were poorly prepared by a previous advisor, and the client had no idea what they meant or how the business was going after two years. The client had very little communication from his previous advisor and basically saw him once a year at tax time.
After a detailed analysis of his tax and business affairs and asking him a number of questions, I established some objectives/targets for him to achieve through my specially prepared, and much sought after, business checklists.
Table discussions every three months, after the BAS’s, proved incredibly useful to this client as problems like bookkeeping and tax planning were resolved quickly and effectively.
The client is now more confident and settled with a purpose-driven attitude and looks forward to those table discussion sessions every three months! A great result for him and his business.
